Redmi Note 5 Pro costs Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB variant and Rs 16,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM version.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro will be available through flash sale, which makes it a bit elusive for buyers who miss out on that small-time window when it is available for purchase.

Comparison between note 5 & note 5 pro:
● As the price suggests, the Redmi Note 5 is a phone with more mainstream hardware, compared to the Redmi Note 5 Pro that not only has a faster processor but also has more premium features like that dual camera.

●Both the Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro are fast phones. In day-to-day use, you will not find any major difference between these two phones. For demanding games like Implosion, the Note 5 Pro is noticeably smoother than the Note 5, which can be somewhat choppy.

●The display is another area where the Note 5 and the Note 5 Pro differ. The size and resolution of the display is same in both the Note 5 and the Note 5 Pro. They both have screens that measure 5.99-inch diagonally and have a resolution of 1080p. But the quality of the display on the Note 5 Pro is better.

● The camera is another big difference between the Note 5 Pro and the Note 5. The Pro is better, significantly so in lower light scenes. It also comes with a dual camera set up with portrait mode, which is always a nice feature to have.
●Battery life of the Note 5 and the Note 5 Pro is more or less same, although in some conditions the Pro lasts longer.

Redmi Note 5 Pro or Redmi Note 5
Let's consider the prices: The Redmi Note 5 price starts at Rs 9,999. This is for the 3GB + 32GB variant. The 4GB with 64GB variant costs Rs 11,999. Of these two, the better purchase is the 3GB variant. In a way the Redmi Note 5 is the best phone under Rs 10,000.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro costs Rs 13,999 for the 4GB variant. This is the best value for money. It's a better value for money than the 6GB variant of the Redmi Note 5 Pro that costs Rs 16,999.
If you can extend your budget and spend Rs 13,999, go for the Redmi Note 5 Pro 4GB.

The better camera and the better display are worth the extra you will spend on it compared to the Redmi Note 5, even if marginally better performance and battery life may not matter to you.
